Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurial and driven, my peers look to me as a leader and a motivator; characteristics I attribute to what I've learned here. My Capstone project provided one of the most incredible and educational startup-founder processes I've ever experienced. Between network engagement, pitch practice, the Fowler Business Competition, and internship opportunities this program has me led to, it's become the focal point of my appreciation for this university. St. Thomas has one attribute that stands out above all others, community. On many occasions in my personal life and here as a student I have experienced novelty opportunities through this network. I believe I learned most of what I know about the world of Startup & Venture Capital via connections made and experiences had as a direct result of being a Tommie.

Marketing Management
I pursued an additional degree in marketing during sophomore year to gain a unique set of skills and the knowledge to diversify and strengthen my entrepreneurial aptitude, ultimately broadening my ability to leverage career opportunities in the future. I acquired a comprehensive understanding of the principals and strategies of marketing. Through a rigorous curriculum, I learned how to conduct market research effectively, analyze consumer behavior, develop marketing plans/strategies, and utilize various digital marketing channels & assets (such as building this website for example).
