I had the opportunity to work closely with - and learn from the cohort of founders, teams, and Techstars staff to drive growth for startup companies. Applying my diverse and adaptive entrepreneurial skillset and knowledge, I worked alongside founders and their teams to develop tailored growth strategies for each specific startup's needs throughout the 13-week accelerator program. I helped facilitate the emergence of exciting output and market opportunities for each company. This program focussed on the cutting edge of innovation in AI-Software, Interactive VR, Niche App/Web Development, Live Events, and Sports-Tech-related Industries. My experience structuring growth maximization (without a template) in this unique and diverse early-stage startup environment deepened my understanding of the importance of innovation and collaboration in the industry. This is something I love being a part of and will be forever grateful for - especially now that I hold a little seat in the Techstars Universe. Deliverables: - Became Brand Ambassador for startup, Biiah, taking responsibility of marketing manager due to abrupt vacancy. Built key strategies and reports for B2C customer acquisition, new leads, and templates for Linked, saving the company 2-3 hours of work daily. - Monitored and audited weekly KPI reports for founders, collecting all crucial information and relaying it back to remote teams, saving founders' 2-4 hours per week. - Set up Hubspot web development with startup, Backr, to create, launch, and successfully track user feedback, CRM, and CRR. - Generated 20% increase in Demo Day (main event) attendance through email, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Newsletters, maximizing digital outreach campaigns. Created templates for incoming associates. - Conducted extensive and in-depth research weekly to better understand market trends and opportunities across industries on specific value creation deliverables for each startup's unique needs. - Met with co-associates, Project Manager, Investment Principal, Venture Principal, and Managing Director for 1 hour per week to discuss deliverables, centralize focus, and set goals. - Worked directly with Program Manager on the program's digital marketing, creating graphics, copywriting, and setting up a network of content distribution outlets, generating 10+ new leads per week.

I take pride in my ability to interact with customers and my willingness to understand their needs, which I have since translated to other client-facing roles. At Scheels, customer experience is paramount. Over the course of my 1.5 years spent there, I learned to embody the mindset of putting the customer first, regardless of situation, time, or cost. These principles have become integral to my personal and professional life, pushing me to excel beyond expectations as an individual in my community and across professional endeavors.

My friend & business colleague Cory Kaisersatt presented a unique entrepreneurial opportunity to me through his existing lake-weed-removal company expansion from Prior Lake, MN, to Lake Minnetonka, MN. Together we created hundreds of advertisements (flyers, signs, cards), used our local networking platforms, and pitched the business door-to-door with the goal of creating a new market in Minnetonka. Ultimately, we were moderately successful and have since become new competition in the lakeweed-removal business around Lake Minnetonka. A fantastic learning opportunity that presented innovative, hands-on challenges, which we troubleshot as we gained experience. Ultimately rendering both of us more knowledgable in organic marketing growth & customer acquisition, as well as better entrepreneurial thinkers overall.
